Google Play Games data

To manage data held by Google, use your Play Games profile controls. Google provides options for individual game data and the overall Play Games profile. Review its current instructions before choosing a deletion option.

Removing platform data and clearing local app storage are separate actions. One does not necessarily remove the other, and sync or backups may restore a copy.

The game's optional cloud-data control

If your version supports cloud saving and you are signed in, the game may offer Settings → Cloud Save → Delete Cloud Data. This asks the platform to remove the game's cloud save, keeps progress on the device, and turns cloud saving off on that device.

This is a game-save action, not deletion of your Google or Apple account. If Cloud Save is unavailable in your version, that control cannot be used. It does not remove data held by unrelated Google or Apple services.

Apple accounts and cloud saves

For a supported iOS release, manage Game Center and iCloud through your Apple device's settings and Apple's guidance. Android and iOS saves are separate. The studio cannot close an Apple Account on your behalf.

Before removing data

A parent or guardian should help a child with these choices. Clearing local or cloud records may remove progress, achievements, or earned items. Check the platform and device controls carefully; uninstalling, deleting a cloud save, and closing a platform account have different effects.
